My WordPress reflection

Creating my WordPress blog along with managing it taught me a lot more about online communication and content creation than I expected. Prior to starting the project, I knew how to use social networking but had very little experience when it came to creating and managing a blog. Creating my WordPress site gave me a better understanding of how different parts of a website help each other work, including an option to select a theme, create pages, publish posts, and organize different characters.

One of the major discoveries I made was that it is extremely important to pay attention to the audience while creating the content. I had to think about what my posts look like, how easy they are to read, and whether the information is related to my blog’s aim. Even though it took many tries to perfect the designs on my blog, I am realizing the importance of having a website like this.

Running the blog ultimately helped me improve my skills on WordPress and gain experience making content aimed at an online audience. I learned to make modifications to my website and upload new content, as well as check my pages to make sure they’re to my liking. The whole assignment made me understand how digital communication is an art requiring creativity and accuracy.

In conclusion, getting my WordPress blog helped me learn about how digital platforms allow people and companies to communicate. Furthermore, I got some skills that may be useful for my future Mass Communication classes and profession. The assignment proved to me that the online presence is not only about the posted content but also about the way this content is delivered and perceived by the audience.
